Screencast AV 4 Troubleshooting and FAQs – Distance and Placement

This article provides information about the preferred distance and placement of your ScreenCast AV 4 Wireless AV-to-HDTV Adapter, F7D4516.

• ScreenCast AV can reach up to 100 feet (30 m) line-of-sight and approximately 30 feet (10 m) through barriers like walls, cabinets, and doors.
   

  NOTE:  The ranges above are estimates as every environment is different.  Actual range will depend on the composition of the barriers and other factors.
   

• There are a variety of situations that could require slightly adjusting the position and/or placement of your ScreenCast AV transmitter and/or receiver.
   

• In most, if not all cases, an on-screen message will let you know if you need to adjust the location of your transmitter and/or receiver.
