- How to find your Belkin router’s user manual
A User Manual is a document that contains your router's hardware and software features, setup instructions, and other technical specifications. There are two (2) ways to download your router's user manual. Click on the links below to know how:
By going to the Belkin support site
By accessing your router’s Dashboard
Go to the Belkin support site and enter your router's model number in the search field.
Locate the DOCUMENTS section.
Click on the link and wait for the user manual to download.
NOTE: In this example, the Belkin F9K1124 is used.
QUICK TIP: Narrowing your search using the device model number + a keyword or keywords will help. The example below is the search result for entering the model number + user manual in the search field. You only need to select the manual applicable to your region.
NOTE: This option is available on selected router model numbers.
Launch a web browser and enter "http://router" or "192.168.2.1" in the Address bar. Then, press [ENTER].
QUICK TIP: The default IP Address of your Belkin router is 192.168.2.1. If the IP Address has been changed, enter the new one instead. For instructions on how to check your router's IP Address, click here.
Click on Advanced Settings and go to Utilities > Optional Software.
Click on the Download the manual for your device link under Device Manual.
NOTE: Alternatively, you can select the Optional Software menu and download the user guide from the Device Manual section.
You should now have successfully downloaded your Belkin router's user manual.
