Answer
Although the F5D8000 and F5D8010 are not offically supported under or certified for Windows Vista at this time, Belkin Technical Support have tested it and found it to work fine on the 32-bit edition of Vista. The adapters do not work on the 64-bit edition.
In order to use the adapter on Windows Vista 32-bit, do not install the software from the CD. Use the adapter with Windows' built-in support for Wireless Networking. Download the Driver-Only package below and run it to extract the drivers to a folder you specify.
If you have the F5D8000, note that this is a combination of a PCI to Cardbus adapter and an F5D8010 Notebook card. Shut down and switch off your computer and insert the PCI to Cardbus adapter in a free PCI slot. Do not insert the Notebook adapter yet. Switch the PC back on.
When the driver files are extracted and, in the case of the F5D8000, Windows is back up, insert the Notebook adapter. Windows will try to find the driver for it. If the search fails you will be able to tell Windows where to search. Just point it to the folder to which you extracted the drivers and Windows will be able to finish the installation.
