Using a Drivers-Only Package
The downloads below contain the drivers for one of the versions of the adapter in a self-extracting archive. They are meant to be used with the built-in support for Wireless Networking in Windows XP or Windows Vista.
When the download is run, the drivers will be extracted to a folder you can specify. Once this is done, insert the adapter. When Windows allows you to specify a location to search for drivers, point it to the folder where the drivers are extracted.
For version 2, you can also point Windows to the CD-Rom that came with the adapter without downloading anything. Do not install the software on the CD though.
Using Ralink Drivers
Versions 2 of the adapter is based on a Ralink Chipset. You can use Ralkink's drivers to use the adapters on Windows Vista. Ralink's drivers can be found on
their website. You will need the RT257x drivers here.
