Finding the MAC address of the AirPort® on a Mac® computer

The AirPort® ID or MAC address is a unique 12-digit code assigned to every piece of networking hardware for identification (like a social security number) which you can find printed on a label on the AirPort Card, or through your Mac® computer. 
 
Follow the steps below to know how to get the AirPort ID of your Mac computer:

 
Step 1:
Click the Apple® icon then select the System Preferencesoption.

Step 2:
Under Internet & Wireless, select Network.

Step 3:
Make sure that the default Location is Automatic.  Then, click the Advanced… button.

Step 4:
Click HardwareThe MAC Address will then be available on the Network screen.
