Belkin has determined that certain SurgeMaster surge protectors manufactured by
Powertech Industrial Co., Ltd. of Taiwan pose a safety risk that may result in the
rotating plug molding and housing parts cracking or detaching from the plug assembly
in rare circumstances.
The affected SurgeMaster surge protectors were sold from January 2003 through December
2003. Affected model numbers are F9G930-10, F9G930-v10, F9G930-10-W, F9G930G-CL
and F9G930-10-SN.
Please note that only units manufactured in 2003 are subject to this recall. In
addition, grey units, model F9G930-10-GRY and F9G930fc10G-CL, are not subject to this recall.

Belkin is voluntarily recalling the affected surge protectors and has initiated
an exchange program to provide eligible customers with a new replacement surge protector,
free of charge. This program is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer
Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
Identifying your Surgemaster surge protector
Please use the image on the right to identify the surgemaster manufacture date.
On the back of the unit you will notice identification wheels. In the identification
wheel there is a triangle pointing to a number. If a triangle is pointing to 03
in any of the wheels and your model number is affected please order a replacement
surge protector immediately.
