        Can I use WEP 128-bit encryption on your wireless networking products with Apples Airport Basestation or Airport products?

        Yes, only if the Apple hardware you have is Version 2.0.

    If the Apple hardware you have is Version 1.x.x then it will with 40-bit(64-bit)encryption.

    Version 1.x.x of the Apple hardware only supports 40-bit (64-bit)encryption, but for the Apple Airport card there is a firmware update that you can install for them that will allow them to work with 128-bit encryption.

    For the Apple Airport Basestation new Version 2.0 hardware is required for 128-bit encryption.
