Belkin commissioned the Tolly Group to test the speeds of Belkin's routers. Here's what they found:

TESTING METHODOLOGY

Belkin N150, N300, N600

Test based upon the average throughput (the total data that a device uploads and downloads) when connected devices are placed within a home network at various distances from router. The Belkin router had the highest average throughput at measurements greater than 30 feet. Leading routers were determined by identifying the most commonly purchased routers that collectively accounted for a majority of router sales.

Belkin N750

900 Mbps is derived from the total WLAN 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, and WAN. Test based upon connected devices being placed within a home network at 15 feet from router. The Belkin router had over 900 mbps combined router speeds and Wi-Fi and routing speeds.
