Harold Smolders takes the lead as PR Manager - EMEA

(Northants, UK) - 23 May 2007 – Belkin are pleased to announce the placement of Harold Smolders as PR Manager – EMEA. In this newly created role Harold will continue to drive the Global PR strategy for Belkin on a European level, in a continuing effort to provide in-house, personal support for journalists and press of every level and across the many multimedia outlets.

Belkin actively participate in trade shows and press events across Europe and Harold will drive press attendance for these events and for all product launches and PR initiatives. As part of an established in house PR team Harold will be supported in his efforts by Sandy de Roos, Chantal Vergouw in Europe and Liz Falconer in the UK and Ireland.

Harold joins the company from one of the world’s largest industrial engineering organisations where he held the position of Corporate and Marketing Communications Manager at their London head office. In addition to his experience in multi-national Marketing Communication and Sales Development, he has managed large international projects and events in Europe and overseas. Harold has recently relocated from London, UK and will be based in the Belkin office in Schiphol Rijk.
