(Compton, CA) - May 2, 2006 – Belkin’s new OmniView KVM-over-IP solutions provide small to medium-size businesses with enterprise-class performance at a reasonable price. KVM-over-IP Switches enable network administrators to control their servers from anywhere, at anytime. The OmniView Remote IP Manager offers an easy way to add KVM-over-IP technology to existing KVM configurations. The Remote IP Manager will ship in North America in June while the Switches will ship in July. Launch of the products in Europe, Asia, and Australia will follow shortly.
The OmniView Quad-Bus 2x16 KVM-over-IP Switch gives centralized control of servers for one local and two digital users (two simultaneous users). It can expand to support up to four simultaneous digital or local users and 256 servers by daisy-chaining. The Switch features micro-cabling technology and includes cables to connect up to 16 servers.
OmniView SMB KVM-over-IP Switches provide centralized control of servers for one local and one digital user (one simultaneous user). The 1x16 KVM Switch can expand to support up to 256 servers while the 1x8 KVM Switch can support up to 248 servers via daisy-chaining. These Switches also feature CAT5 technology for reduced cable clutter and simplified deployment.
The OmniView Remote IP Manager provides remote access for one digital user to any KVM switch or server. It also features virtual media capability to transfer images and files between local and remote computers.
