Belkin Names Chris McGugan to Lead Worldwide Product Management and Engineering
(Compton, CA) - March 21, 2007 – Belkin International, Inc., the global leader in connectivity solutions, announces the appointment of Chris McGugan to the position of Vice President of Product Management. In his new role, Mr. McGugan will continue to drive and evolve Belkin’s engineering and product-development teams to further our goal of delivering intuitive, easy-to-use products that complement our customers’ lifestyles.
Mr. McGugan brings nearly 20 years of experience and leadership in developing and marketing Ethernet, wireless, and mobility technologies and products to Belkin. Prior to Belkin, he held leadership roles in research and development, product and technical marketing, and product management at Motorola, Symbol Technologies, and Cisco Systems. Mr. McGugan is currently active in many technology standard bodies and industry associations, helping to drive the advancement of networking technology.
