Belkin Careers Purchasing, Forecasting & Operations

Overview

Our Purchasing and Forecasting group is constantly following industry trends and interacting with departments across the organisation to set inventory levels. Members of this team help create, update, and maintain forecasts for customers and individual product lines. They also expedite orders and returns to help maintain those set levels, and are charged with the important task of providing Belkin’s sales force with the information it needs to sell our products every day.

The Purchasing, Forecasting & Operations department includes the following disciplines:

  • Buying / Planning
  • Demand Planning
  • Forecasting Analysis
  • Regulatory Compliance

Duncan has been at Belkin for just over 8 years and started out as a CSR, he is still enjoying it the same as he did all those years ago. Duncan: “Although I'm on site at customers' locations most of the time, I really enjoy the versatility of my role and whenever I'm back in the office there's a great atmosphere and it's always good to catch up with the guys.”

Skills and Values

You can stay flexible in a dynamic discipline and can think on your feet. You’re familiar with overseas logistics and understand regulatory compliance laws. You know how to set inventory levels and provide accurate and timely delivery information to Sales and Product Management. You have exceptional planning skills and can follow retail trends with the best of them.
