This fulltime position is part of the HR team for the EMEA region reporting to the HR Director – EMEA. The role will be based in The Netherlands (Schiphol - Rijk)
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
* Coordinate and manage the smooth delivery of payroll in all countries across the region (approx 10 countries) using third parties providers in most countries. Bank transfers and related supporting activities in accordance with company and statutory deadlines.
* Accurate and timely maintenance of the payroll database and documentation.
* Provide expert advice and operational support to HR Business Partners in relation to all C&B matters
* Manage and coordinate secondary benefits and insurance policy renewals in addition to overseeing monthly reporting responsibilities with specific view to streamlining processes and improving efficiencies
* Develop relationships with benefits brokers and providers and apply market knowledge and intelligence re comparable levels of remuneration and benefits in the external marketplace
* Provide support to the HR Director throughout the compensation review cycle
* Support HR Business Partners in ExPat relocations and secondments
* Providing Benefits information during induction of new hires and ongoing updates to existing employees from third party providers
Project Responsibilities:
* Project manage implementation of external benchmarking and grading structures
* Work with IT departments to further develop HR databases and infrastructure
* Audit benefits packages of EMEA offices and help devise strategies for new office locations
* Lead the consolidation of external payroll providers across the region ensuring compliance with SLAs and ensure cost effectiveness.
Background and Qualifications:
* Broadly based knowledge of Compensation & Benefits (C&B), including total compensation, pensions and flexible benefits.
* Highly numerate and commercial in approach
* Very comfortable with and supportive of the use of technology in HR – (Oracle)
* Experience working in a subsidiary or foreign company supporting different jurisdictions
* Experience working in change environments desirable
* Track record of finding flexible, practical solutions to problems
