Quality Assurance Associate
ETEK Labs is looking for
a reliable individual to be responsible for testing prototype and production
products for quality assurance purposes also completing competitive analysis
of products, working with QA engineer in the development and implementation
of test plans based upon functional and technical specifications, and working
with tech support on problem reports for identification of problem and
propose solutions. Specific responsibilities include developing and
completing basic test plans based on functional and technical specifications;
conducting all department testing procedures in compliance with product
specifications and standards; interpreting records and reports results
in a neat, concise and accurate manner; utilizing in depth knowledge of
multiple operating systems – Windows, Mac, UNIX; performing functionality
and performance testing; working on replication of issues identified by
problem reports or bug tracking, and proposing solutions and/or workarounds
where applicable. Education and experience requirements include an
Associate Degree in Technology or related field or equivalent work experience,
analytical problem resolution skills, and extensive hands-on technical
experience installing, configuring, testing and troubleshooting multiple
