General Settings

On the General tab, you can specify when you want the Control Center software to start and the types of notifications you want to see.

If you mark the checkbox to Start Hub Control Center when Windows Starts, any devices you have specified to automatically connect with will be ready for use when you start your computer. For information about specifying to automatically connect with devices, see Device Properties. If you specify to start the software when the computer starts, you can also mark the Show the Hub Control Center checkbox so the Control Center will appear each time you start the computer.

Under Notification Settings, you can specify which notifications you want to see. Mark checkboxes to:
  1. Notify me when the device connection is lost - to inform you when the connection to a USB device is lost.
  2. Remind me that devices should not be in use whenever I disconnect a device - to remind you that you should ensure a device is not in use before disconnecting. For example, disconnecting a storage device while files are open could result in data loss.
Specify how often you want to set the Device status refresh rate. This rate determines how often the Control Center updates the status of devices attached to the Hub.

Connected Hubs

On the Connected Hubs tab, you can view all the Network USB Hubs available on your network and set properties for them.

All Connected Hubs are listed in the box. You can select any Hub and click Properties to view settings for that particular Hub. Click Refresh list to ensure the view of your network is up-to-date.

Network administrators who are administering a network containing subnetworks can click Refresh options to specify broadcast IP addresses to be used when the Control Center searches the network for Hubs. Broadcast IP addresses are used to search across all machines on subnetworks.
